The Hospital, as part of its role as a steward of public health, works collaboratively with other hospitals in Ontario County, and the County Department of Health, to identify and respond to community health needs. You can read the Hospital's most recent Community Service plan here.
We offer the community numerous services and opportunities - from Nursing Education field placements to support groups for people who care for loved ones with Alzheimer's Disease. Community education events occur throughout the year, including a Diabetes Fair in November and a Child Seat Safety Inspection in June. All events are open to the general public and many of them are free. A sampling of our programs is included here. To learn about these groups or how your group may qualify to use hospital space for meetings, contact the Office of Community Relations at 315.462.0140.
