The Clifton Springs Hospital Foundation

The Foundation hosts fundraisers and accepts charitable gifts on behalf of the Hospital.  Our job is to support the efforts of Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic, and its Nursing Home, in their work to enhance the lives of others.  We think the work of the Hospital is worthy of your support and urge you to consider a charitable gift.  Support our Annual Appeal, golf in the annual Clifton Classic or make a tribute gift in honor or memory of a loved one, professional associate or favored caregiver. 

Tribute gifts should include the name of the honored individual in the memo line of the check or in an accompanying letter.  Gifts can be mailed or hand-delivered to:

Enjoy the convenience of giving by Credit Card.  Use your Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express to make your gift in person or over the phone at 315.462.0120.  General Fund and tribute gifts can now be made online by clicking here.

Make the Most of Your Gift.  Employer (or retiree) Matching Gift Programs can double or triple the value of your gift.  Simply request a matching gift form from your employer's Human Resources Office and mail it with your gift to the Office of the Foundation.

Payroll Deduction.  Employees of the Hospital can make arrangements for payroll deduction of charitable gifts through the Office of Human Resources.

Give The Gift of Life.  Donate blood, tissue or organs. In conjunction with the American Red Cross, the Hospital Auxiliary hosts two on-site blood drives per year.  The New York Organ Donor Network assist individuals in  pledging their organs for the benefit of others.  Contact Community Relations for more information.

In-Kind Donations.  New or gently-used non-cash items may be gifted to the Hospital. Gifts of materials or long-lived assets must be directly related to the mission of our organization. Contact the Foundation or phone 315.462.0120 for more information about how to make a gift-in-kind.

Tribute Gifts
Gifts can be made "In memory" or "In honor" of a family member, friend, or colleague - even a member of our medical or service staff who had a particularly positive influence on your experience here.  Gifts can be unrestricted or designated to one of several designated funds. The Foundation Office will notify the honoree of the donor's tribute gift and will notify the surviving spouse or family member of a memorial gift.

Bequests
Individuals often make legacy gifts by including the Clifton Springs Hospital Foundation in their will.  A will is an important part of a family's financial plan.  A bequest to the Foundation provides a lasting legacy while reducing the taxable portion of the estate of the deceased.

Gift Annuities, Charitable Remainder Trusts and more...
A variety of tools exist for the purposes of planned giving.  Some even allow the donor to receive income from the gift for life.
