Clifton Springs Orthopaedics provides consultation, care and surgery as necessary for individuals dealing with joint pain or damage that may have resulted from trauma, deformity or the natural process of aging. Dr. Tariq Hussain leads the staff of the center, conveniently located inside the South Entrance of Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.
Dr. Hussain has extensive training in general orthopaedics, hand surgery, orthopaedic trauma, spine and joint replacement and reconstruction. He completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Ohio State University and a Hand Microvascular Surgery fellowship at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. He received a majority of his orthopaedic training in Great Britain and is Board Certified in Orthopaedics by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Canada.
Total or Partial Joint Replacement includes the hip, knee, shoulder and elbow. Surgeries are performed on the Clifton Springs Hospital campus and patients enjoy the comfort and convenience of private rooms at no extra cost - including free in-room TV and local telephone service.
Sports Medicine includes arthroscopic surgery on the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle, includes treatment of torn ACL, ligament and bicep repair and decompression/stabilization.
Care of the Hand and Wrist includes arthroscopy of the wrist, ligament reconstruction, treatment of scaphoid fractures and Carpal Tunnel release.
Treatment of the Foot and Ankle includes bunions, hallux valgus, small toe surgeries and ankle fusions.
