Rehabilitation Therapies

The Rehabilitation Services department provides Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy evaluation and treatment to individuals in the community and inpatients in our Hospital & Nursing Home.  We strive to optimize your movement, strength, communication and functional independence while eliminating or minimizing your pain.

We can benefit patients with the following diagnoses:

  • Arthritis
  • Back/Neck Pain
  • Balance Disorders
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Fractures
  • Repetitive Motion Injuries
  • Sports Injuries
  • Sprain/Strain
  • Stroke
  • Tendonitis/Bursitis
  • Work-Related Injuries

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy focuses on bettering the quality of life through improving activities of daily living (ADL’s).  ADL’s include bathing, dressing, toileting, shopping, meal preparation, etc.  Occupational therapists work collaboratively with people to facilitate independence and wellness in an individual’s life.  People, from birth to the elderly who need assistance in achieving the highest level of activity desired in their daily lives would benefit from receiving services from an occupational therapist.  The occupational therapy staff can assist people in better managing the effects of:

  • Amputation
  • Arthritis
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Hand Injuries
  • Joint Replacements
  • Low Vision
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Stroke
  • Traumatic Brain Injury

Speech Therapy

Our Speech Pathology Department provides evaluations and treatment by a licensed, ASHA certified, experienced Speech Pathologist. We offer the following services:

  • Speech evaluations
  • Speech therapy for: Aphasia, Dysarthria, Sysphasia, Articulation Impairments, Language Delays, Language evaluations
  • Swallowing evaluations
  • Treatments and/or consultation with patients following radiation therapy
  • Videofloroscopic swallowing evaluations (Modified barium swallow studies)

Monday          7:30 am to 6:00 pm

Tuesday         7:30 am to 6:00 pm

Wenesday      7:30 am to 6:00 pm

Thursday        7:30 am to 6:00 pm

Friday             8:00 am to 4:30 pm
